Sooo~ Last weekend me and some awesome friends took at trip to Norway for a convention called Desu-con. I LOOOVE that convention, I don't even!!
The people are nice, the cosplayers are great, the staff is more than awesome (and NEVER far away from a smile) and my roomies was the best! <3
And ofcause there was Star Wars EVERYWHERE!!!... *w* My kind of convention!!!
I managed to finish my Lebreau in the last second, so I'm not super exited about that cosplay. But it was awesome to try some other kinds of cosplays than what I'm use to.
Anyways, I wont write to much, but I'll load some pictures up from the con plus a short con-video that I filmed and edited.. (first con-video, so don't expect the wildest con-video en the world! ;D).
I'm in a lot of doubt, and I thought that you perhaps could help me out. :D
I'm planning a Paradise Kiss cosplay together with my lovely Hopy as Caroline for Genki in August, but I'm in such a doubt WHO I want to cosplay!
George VS Isabella

I really like Isabella! I think she is such a darling!! I'll choose a simple outfit for her. Most properly her white shirt, long black skirt and big hat..
My problem with Isabella is, that Isabella is a DRAG QUEEN..... I would really really hate to cosplay as her looking like a girl with too much makeup, and I think that I most likely would look like that. :(
I feel like a girl with too much makeup... :S
But still.. She is so wonderful!!!
George:
It's no secret that George tense to be quite an asshole sometime! But I still like him a lot! :D
George is a bit feminine and that helps me out a great deal. :D I think it's easier for me to look manly than looking like a man with makeup... >__>;
I've been thinking about my partner as well, and I think that it'll be a lot funnier to be Caroline and George than Caroline and Isabella... But then again.. George is a guy... XD And I'm getting a bit tired of coplaying as manly men.. XD

Speaking of manly men....
For some time now, I've been thinking about some pictures I wanted to take..
I'm a HUGE Darren Shan fan, and I sometimes wish a had a skinnier face, so then I could cosplay as my beloved Mr. Crepsley.. But I don't think I have the face for that..
So I wanted to try something where my face wasn't so much in focus like what I did tonight. :D

I hope you liked it. :) It was a VERY fast shoot with almost no light and a super fast makeup... I tense to do this kinda stuff AFTER the sun goes down.... I never learn! XD
(BTW.. The things on my fingers is suppose to be scares. :) In "The legend of Darren Shan" you get blooded by mixing blood from a vampire through your fingertips. That leaves scares and it's something every vampires has.)

I'm going to keep this journal short because I'm in the middle of a really REALLY good book right now, and just needed a break after reading the whole day (Oh Darren Shan!! what you do to me! <3)
Anyways, Svs-con var AMAZING and I had such a great time!
Most of friday I spend with my Elfquest group. I love you girls! ;W; All of you! They looked so amazing and I can't WAIT for Genki where we will be a even larger group! ;W; All of my love! (Very soon, I'm going on a shoot together with Lavi as Skywise, and GOD I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!... Just saying!)
It was a pretty relaxing day, and nothing interesting really happened, other than Live TV was running around between us cosplayers with a big-ass camera, and many of my friends was filmed on the purpose to show "normal" people what we did at this convention. XD
Saturday was a really interesting day... Me and Lea had to prepare for the show as Sophie and Howl from Howls moving castle, and spend most of the day practicing.
I also spend some time walking around the con, but I was dressed up as old Sophie, so I was rather slow.. XD
But GOSH I loved people reaction. Some new about this cosplay, but non saw it coming that I would be the old version. ;D

Anyways, me and Lea was the last group of this years Svs-cosplay show, and I swear to you guys, I have never... NEVER made bigger mistakes on a stage as this one.. Holy Moly I fucked up! Luckly, I have an amazing Howl, and we manged to save to skit, so nobody seems to notices it. XD
SO after spending a hour or so apologizing over and over again to Lea (I was about to drive her mad, btw XD) it was time for the prizes.
I couldn't wait to see who would win the qualifications for this years London Expo, and begged all I had for it to be Karina, who was my fav single-performancer. And nothing could be more right when they called out her name as the winner! ;W; <3 Congratulations, sweety!
Some of my friends also manged to win two prizes for their AWESOME "Twisted Disney Princesses"-act <3 Congratulations girls! ;W; I still get the chills every time I think about your act! =w= Also, me and Lea was lucky to win the prize for "Best Craft". I was SOOO happy, 'cause I didn't see it coming AT ALL.
I didn't upload the act myself yet, since my computer is horrible to use when you want to edit something in HDquality.. But you can see out act here:
Sunday was a really relaxing day. Not much happened other than hanging
out with people and me and Lea had a small shoot, just because we had the
time. :3
I think I've got one of the most handsome Howl cosplayer ever! ;D
ANYWAYS.... Now for the new subject: Future cosplays!
Desu-con is coming up in about a month, and I've changed my cosplay plans, and I will not be cosplaying as Fang... I've moved the cosplay to later this year.
Reason no. 1: Before a had both a Vanile and a Hope that would join me in the FFXIII group (The others is making cosplays for FFXIII-2) but both had to cancel because of exams... So.. I didn't feel like walking around as the only FFXIII. (I know Fang is showed in the start of the games in a dream, but still)
Reason no. 2: I don't think I would be able to make it in time... I haven't even started it yet, and I would HATE to rush it!
Reasion no. 3: I could join my good friend Hayes, and be his partner. :D
I choose to cosplay as Lebreau. :3 She was the first character I wanted to cosplay before I choose Fang, so it only seem natural for me to pick her again. :3 Her cosplay is not SUPER detailed, but it's not boring either.
Again I will have to show a bit more of my body than what I'm conformable with, but I think I'll be just fine. :D
I can't wait for this con! ;W; I'm so exited! <3
AND I started this journal up with a "it's going to be short" and GOSH what a lier I am! XD

So yeah, I'm so exited about this cosplay, I can't wait a week to show it to the world! It's far from the most awesome cosplay, and it has many flaws, but I must be honest and say that it really doesn't bother me THAT much! I'm just looking forward to walk around among other ElfQuest cosplayers next weekend. ;W; And oh GOD I've been editing a lot on the pictures.. So people; don't get disappointed when you see me IRL.. My body is not near as slim and trained as it seems on the pictures.. ;D There will be more pictures uploaded on my DA later. :)
I was finally able to do a makeup test, with my lovely Rayek in company.
It was rather hard to do a makeup of a beautiful and manly man at the same time.. Specially when you are a girl. XD
The light in the toilet and my camera weren't best friends ever, so it's kinda hard to see my makeup fully.. But I manged to do a makeup that both made me look manly (or as manly as I can get), but also (kinda) beautiful.. Or whatever.. XD;
I borrowed one of Lea's wigs, since I left mine at home.
And since it's me and Lea, nothing serious is happening until we had our fun.. XD Enjoy!

I also did a makeup test on my stomach... Well.. It didn't go so well, and I first planned on not sharing it with you, but I'll do it anyway.. :) Just so then you guys can see that I actually work on getting better. XD (if that makes sense to you at all!) XD
I think that I did a okay job on the shadowing, I just need to work a bit more on the anatomy.

I've been working most of the day today to finish Cutter, and I'm ALMOST done!
The pants are done, (more or less), the shirt only need some small details, the sword had been repainted and I'm coloring the west.
I have to say, that coloring the west didn't give me the result I was hoping for, so I'll walk around with a brown/Orange west, but dudes...it takes money to find the right fabric.. And I don't have that kind of money, so I'll use the west anyways... AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME! ;D
I promised last entry that I would show you my ears, and I'm keeping that promise! :D
I LOVE these ears! The looks so lovely! They are big, but not too big! They have a great shape and I just... I LOVE THEM SO BAD!!... It's my first elf ears... forgive me! XD
Anyways...
Because of the color difference between my skin and the ears, I had to use some makeup to make it match just a little.
Other than that, I make some shadows just to make them look less flat...
I only painted the upper one. It's more or less for you guys to see the difference. :)
I've also been working on my stage cosplay for svs today, and I'm about 50% done! I'm starting to stress down a bit because I'm almost done with my cosplays.. Is really really nice, since I have SO many things going on in my private life, so I get easily stressed up and have mood swings like hell...
I've decided NOT to wear Isabela for Svs-con...
I'm not satisfied with my body AT ALL, and I know that I'll give people some serious nightmares with my jiggly ass XD
So I'll use her for a photoshoot because photoshop can save my ass.... literately. :D
I've found a really nice location that I hope I'll be able to use, and I'll try to put up some pictures as soon as I'm done with the cosplay. :D

See, I got myself a new header. :D I thought there where to many pictures with my face on on the old one.. XD I kinda couldn't handle it, so I made something a bit more... humbled? XD
But yeah, currently I'm living at my friends place, and since we're going to cosplay together at SVS-con, it would be normal for us to spend a lot of time working on our act and cosplays... well... We're not normal, so of cause we haven't! XD Lazy asses, that's what we are...
But we did manage to do a little. :)
We are just about to finish the sounds for our act, and we're about 35% done with Lea's cosplay... And I'm planning on starting my own today... If my stupid back can handle it! >___>
Lea is working hard on the pants. First time she's making something from a pattern! TwT I'm so proud!
I'll been working on her shirt, and it's almost done. It was my first time making thrills, so they aren't AMAZING.. But they look fine.
I've been working on a tryout for my cosplay, and I'm so happy that I manage to make it work the way I wanted it to work out. I bought the fabric yesterday and I can't wait to get it started.. And NO I'm not going to show you that yet, cause in case you haven't guessed what we are working on, I'm not going to tell just yet! ;D

For the first time, I tried Leas sewing machine and it kinda don't like me. xD I'm also feeling super nervous because of the view from where I'm sewing. XD I kinda feel the pressure ;D
It really looks like a head sticking up from Leas bed. XD; I'm just waiting for it to turn and look at me. XD
Anyways, even though that we're suppose to work a lot on our cosplays... we managed to have time to a photoshoot, and I'm not gonna show you guys any of the pictures since I have to use them for something that I'm not sure that I'm allowed to tell, so I'll just give you a teaser

Wow it's been a while since I updated the last time, and I haven't made that much process... Been busy with life! :D
I'm ALMOST done with Cutters shirt.. I need to sew it in a little, since I look super fat as it is now. XD;
I even manged to make it look pretty on the inside, but I don't have a proof of that yet. xD
I've started on the sheath and I'm half done so far.. I did a tryout last year, but the sword get stock so I had to rip it apart. That is why I covered this inside of the sheath with smooth fabric. It helps the sword slide.
Just a little: this is how I did it... Nothing special :D
This is how it looked like a week ago.. I need to cover the other side with clay and then I'll upload some more pictures. :D
I managed to fuck up my pants pretty bad, so I'm not really sure what to do.. I think I'll just leave it as it is, since it's not possible to get the same fabric anymore, and I'm super busy with so many other projects, I just don't have the time.... (I ripped to many holes on the other side of the pants.. Stupid me!)
I'm looking more and more forward to this cosplay, even though I more or less keep messing things up (my sword is broken again, so I need to fix that as well) but I can't wait to stand with my cosplay group and just look awesome!!!
We just got our ears as well. :D I'll show them at my next update.. They are SUPER awesome! ;W; My very first pair of elf-ears <3
OH WELL.. Isabela needs some attention as well..
I managed to find a "Wash-off" self-tan creme, since I don't want to stay tan after cosplayng her, and it works pretty nice...
It stays on, hardly spill and it's possible to get of by only using hot water and some soap.
Different? I think so! :D
Since I finally got a solution for the tan, I wanted to try on some makeup. It's a lot harder that what I first expected, since all my brown eyeliners and eye shadow was to light for the skin, but I'm glad I tried it out, and now I know how to put it on at the convention. :D
Note: I don't have the wig yet, so I used my own hair and a wig.. AND obvious it's not the scarf that I'm going to use for her.
I also got myself A REAL PIECING JUST FOR THIS COSPLAY.. okay I'm kidding..
I got a fake magnet piecing that I will use for her.. I really need to practice with it.. It's so hard to keep in place!!
